About
Group psychodynamic therapy offers something that individual therapy cannot: the relational world, in miniature, present in the room. For those whose difficulties are organized around the borderline level, the group becomes a live context in which patterns of attachment, withdrawal, idealization, and rupture can be observed, understood, and gradually worked through in real relation to others.
This small, closed group is structured within a psychodynamic framework developed through the University of Alberta Day Treatment Program tradition. For information regarding intake and upcoming groups, please contact Melissa.
